Adaptive command & control and collaboration within the Swedish crisis management
The project, which ended in 2017, was sponsored by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) and carried out by the Division of Risk Management and Societal Safety, the Swedish National Defence College (FHS) and the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI). The purpose of the project was to study how command & control and collaboration can work in accidents and crises of both today and tomorrow. More specifically, it consisted of three parts; developing methods for evaluating command & control and collaboration, investigating factors influencing command & control and collaboration and studying the future demands on leadership where an agile approach is needed to face the increasing complexity.
